EXA’s know-how derives from past experience, when our designers focused exclusively on the design and manufacture of plastic extrusion dies. Tooling design is therefore an integral part of our DNA, ensuring the entire design and extrusion process is handled in-house, with a single point of contact. This approach guarantees that the process is supported by the experience and professionalism of our in-house team, alongside selected partners, for efficient, high-quality management.

3D printing

Based on extrusion techniques, through co-design and 3D prototyping tools, we optimise the geometry of your profile while ensuring production feasibility.
We use 3D printing to create prototypes that allow us, together with the client, to identify potential critical issues and propose improvements before manufacturing the extrusion die.

Lighting testing laboratory

Our lighting laboratory is equipped to carry out tests and measurements on extruded profiles, such light beam characterization, luminous flux measurement.

We are also able to measure color differences compared to reference samples, as well as the degree of aesthetic finish.

These tests are fundamental for research and for supporting the client during the design and prototyping stage, including the development of custom products.

Structural testing laboratory for hardness, tensile strength and density

In our laboratory, we can perform various tests on materials to evaluate their physical characteristics.

We use various techniques, such as destructive and non-destructive testing, static load testing, and more.

For further testing, we rely on the expertise of leading specialized laboratories in both Italy and abroad.

Product traceability

We are able to monitor and record the full history of our profiles, from the origin of the raw materials through to delivery to the client. Our databases collect and store all the necessary data that allow us to trace the journey of our profiles, including production stages, the people involved and the materials used. This enables us to guarantee transparency, safety and quality.
