Advanced processing: from tool to finished product
The extrusion process is not the only one we manage throughout the various phases of design and production. We are also able to modify and upgrade complete tooling systems or tooling components, thanks to our ability to perform offline operations such as drilling, milling, grinding and profile shaping, using a 4-axis machining centre.
Extrusion
A transformation process in which thermoplastic polymer granules are heated to form a mouldable molten mass which, by controlled compression from the extruder screw(s), is forced through a die designed to reproduce the constant cross-section of the end product, creating the desired shape. Once cooled and solidified, the resulting extrudate is cut to the desired length.
Inline o outline processing
During the extrusion phase, we are able to:
- profile steel through calendering and coat it inline;
- perform inline drilling;
- polish the profile by brushing;
- carry out angled cuts;
- apply protective films;
- perform inline laser-based marking and ink.

Engineering
and testing
Once the prototype has been developed, our team of expert testers carries out the necessary processes to transform it into an industrially manufacturable product, optimising functionality, aesthetics and costs. The engineering phases include geometric analysis, structural simulations, the preparation of final production files, prototyping and the drafting of technical documentation. This process is fundamental for guaranteeing reliability, reducing development times and production costs, and minimising plastic waste.
Mechanic shop
The mechanic shop is the “behind the scenes” link between the plastic material of the finished product and the steel dies used to extrude the profiles. It represents the company’s jewel in the crown, guaranteeing the quality of both our product and service. Within the mechanic shop, we carry out upgrades, modifications and preparation of tested and pilot tooling, implement innovations designed by the technical department, and perform routine and extraordinary die maintenance.
