In-house tooling department and special machining workshop
Speed of response is crucial to a project’s success. Relying on external facilities can increase information handovers and the resulting margin of error.
The heart of EXA is its production plant, operating 24 hours a day and comprising 20 extrusion lines, where we manufacture mono-extruded, co-extruded or reinforced profiles using metal inserts, magnets or glass fibre.
Within the EXA facility, our technical department, tooling department and special machining workshop are in-house operations able to work directly on tooling systems to enhance performance.
We specialise in the extrusion of plastic profiles and gaskets, guaranteeing a flexible, responsive service. In addition, we implement and upgrade existing equipment, both for catalogue products and for products custom-made for our clients.
This know-how enables us to offer high-quality, bespoke solutions while maintaining high standards of efficiency and reducing delivery times.
DESIGN
Transforming client requirements into projects
The production process begins with the profile design, but even before that, with creating the equipment needed to extrude it. One of EXA’s key advantages is our design expertise in dies and tooling. Our team is capable of designing not only extruded plastic profiles, but also the specific tools required for their production.
We offer services including in-house CAD die design, detail implementation in the design phase, production of CAD profile drawings according to client specifications, and design-phase support with project consultancy for the requested profile.
